Creating Mont Saint-Michel

Here we go then, my first video tutorial / blog. I won't say much, I'll let the video take it away. Please leave any comments here or on youtube, they are all very welcome!

Please change the size and resolution as necessary.

  1. Well done Pete! A great first video which will give anybody who wants to learn about the capabilities of the Clone Stamp tool a head start. Your instruction was clear and concise and your delivery was spot on.

As you know I've published a couple of videos recently but not with my voice spoiling it! I will change that soon hopefully. As a matter of interest do you use an external mic etc? And what video software?

    Again well done!

    1. Many thanks Tim, glad you liked it! Looking forward to seeing more of your videos as well, I really enjoyed them.

I use an external mic with a headset. I got it about 3 years ago when I bought a rosetta stone language course and was surprised to find it works fine for recording. To record on a mac I use Quicktime (part of the mac package) with a plugin called Soundflower, which enables you to be able to record sound and screen at the same time. It's a bit fiddly at first but easy once you get going, and if I can work it out anyone can! I used iMovie to edit the film but want to become a little more sophisticated in this area going forward so may look at a purchase of some more professional (though not too expensive) kit.

      Cheers again!
